General Laborer - Production

Located in Tyler, TX

Salary: $13/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a General Laborer - Production to join a local company in Tyler, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort incoming materials, packages, and shipments according to company procedures.

• Inspect damaged products for defects and determine appropriate disposition.

• Repackage products as needed to meet quality and shipping standards.

• Sort and organize pallets for storage and shipment.

• Operate a stand-up forklift to move materials, pallets, and finished goods throughout the warehouse.

• Maintain accurate placement of inventory and materials in designated warehouse locations.

• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials for shipment.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Perform other warehouse and production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift experience in a warehouse, production, or logistics environment.

• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment for extended periods.
