Salary: $20-$29/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrator to support daily office operations and create a positive workplace experience for employees and visitors for an engineering firm in Sarasota, Florida. This role is responsible for office administration, employee onboarding, project support, fleet administration, and coordinating office activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, supplies, maintenance, and vendor coordination.
  • Welcome visitors and assist with new hire onboarding, workstation setup, and office orientation.
  • Coordinate employee events, training sessions, wellness initiatives, and office communications.
  • Provide administrative support for projects, reports, presentations, and proposals.
  • Assist with technology asset tracking, computer replacements, and equipment inventory.
  • Support fleet administration, including vehicle rentals, registrations, maintenance records, inspections, and invoice processing.
  • Maintain compliance documentation and employment law postings.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of administrative or office support experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Valid driver's license may be required.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Pay Range: $20-$29/hour, depending on experience
