Duties:

Read and interpret Prints, Drawings, product documentation, and producing product meeting industry welding standards.
Understands and demonstrates basic operation of the GMAW machine using correct gasses and wire with corresponding materials though may choose to verify selections in critical applications. Knows correct voltage and wire speed settings to achieve desired weld.
Use Measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers
Verification of weld according to the customer specifications and the company’s workmanship standards
Clean and maintain welding equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that equipment is in good working condition and all safety features/precautions are maintained.
Must have the ability to receive and maintain operator self-inspection stamp to meet quality expectations
Responsible for the quality and adequacy of your own work.

Requirements:

Highschool Diploma, GED or equivalent (technical school cert for welding with a minimum of 1 year experience).
Must know basic operating procedures for hand plasma and gas torch
Must Know basic operating procedures for grinder, die grinder, dyna file, dual action sander
MIG & TIG
Must be able to bend, stand for an 8-10 hour shift
Must be able to lift 15-20lbs repeatedly with max lifting of 50lbs
