Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Pressure Vessel Fitter for a client in Victoria, TX.

This company is a respected industrial fabrication company specializing in ASME-coded pressure vessels, structural steel, piping systems, and custom fabrication for the oil & gas and industrial sectors. They are looking for an experienced fitter who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to be part of a team committed to safety and excellence.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings.
Fit and assemble pressure vessels according to specifications and ASME standards.
Lay out, align, and tack components for welding.
Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication.
Verify dimensions and ensure proper fit-up before welding.
Safely operate fabrication tools and equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Work closely with welders and shop personnel to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous pressure vessel fitting experience required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel preferred.
Familiarity with ASME pressure vessel fabrication is highly preferred.
Strong measuring and layout skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fabrication shop environment.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
