Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Cold Storage Warehouse

Job Summary:

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a cold storage warehouse in the South McAllen area. This position is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, loading and unloading product, and helping maintain an efficient warehouse flow in a refrigerated environment.

We are looking for dependable candidates who are comfortable working in a cold storage setting and are available for overtime when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify product counts and condition
• Prepare outgoing orders for shipment, including staging, loading, and documentation
• Load and unload product safely and efficiently
• Organize inventory and maintain clean, orderly warehouse storage areas
• Assist with product movement throughout the warehouse as needed
• Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues to management
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and cold storage protocols
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
• Support general warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous shipping & receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Must be comfortable working in a cold storage / refrigerated environment
• Ability to lift, move, and handle product throughout the shift
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work overtime as needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Must be available to stay later during the week as needed
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Must also be available to stay later on Saturdays if needed

Pay:

• $17.00 per hour
