Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Butcher / Meat Processor position for a local Sulphur Springs, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Assist with the safe movement, restraint, and positioning of livestock using low-stress handling techniques
• Perform processing tasks including stunning, bleeding, skinning, evisceration, splitting, and trimming in accordance with USDA and facility standards
• Maintain consistent product quality and accuracy to meet inspection and production standards
• Operate cutting tools and processing equipment safely and effectively
• Follow all workplace safety, sanitation, PPE, and food safety protocols
• Support daily production goals in a fast-paced processing environment

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Experience handling livestock, working in meat processing, agricultural operations, or similar environments preferred
• Knife handling and cutting skills preferred
• Experience with industrial cutting tools or mechanical processing equipment is a plus
• Understanding of proper animal handling and workplace safety procedures
• Ability to follow detailed sanitation, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work efficiently as part of a team
• Willingness to learn; training available for qualified candidates with farm or agricultural backgrounds
