Express Employment Professionals is hiring Quality Assurance (QA) Lab Technicians for a well-established food manufacturing facility in Carrington, ND. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, paying attention to detail, and ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.
 
Pay: $21.00 per hour
 
Available Shifts:
We currently have two full-time openings:
  • 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedules consist of 12-hour rotating shifts and include weekends and holidays as needed.
What You'll Do
As a QA Lab Technician, you'll play an essential role in maintaining food safety and product quality by:
  • Collecting and testing product samples
  • Performing quality checks throughout production and packaging
  • Inspecting labels, packaging, coding, and finished products for accuracy
  • Recording test results and maintaining quality documentation
  • Identifying quality concerns and communicating findings with production teams
  • Inspecting incoming ingredients and finished products
  • Maintaining retention samples and preparing product samples for shipment
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office experience preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous quality assurance, laboratory, food production, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a 12-hour shift
  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, humidity, and dust
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements and inspections throughout the shift
