Salary: up to $27.00/HR

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:00am

Pay: up to $27.00/HR

Duties:

  • Perform gauge calibration and maintain calibration records to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Train employees on the proper use of quality gauging and inspection equipment.
  • Analyze quality data and identify opportunities for process and product improvement.
  • Investigate and process Non-Conforming Material (NCM) and Return Material Authorization (RMA) cases.
  • Lead and participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.
  • Investigate product and process failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Complete Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work orders, production standards, and tolerances to ensure product compliance.
  • Recommend improvements to fabrication, welding, painting, and assembly processes.
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, receiving, and final inspections to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Conduct internal audits of manufacturing processes, procedures, work instructions, and standard work practices.
  • Prepare instructions, routings, and bills of material for the disposition and processing of non-conforming products.
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve quality concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Travel as required to support quality activities, audits, customer visits, or supplier evaluations.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications: 

  • Previous quality assurance, quality control, or quality technician experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with gauge calibration, inspection processes, and quality systems.
  • Knowledge of Non-Conforming Material (NCM), Return Material Authorization (RMA), corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience completing PPAP documentation and supporting customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, dial indicators, paint film gauges, squares, profile gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train and communicate effectively with employees, customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience conducting audits and maintaining quality documentation preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
