Salary: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Office Manager Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Office Manager to support the daily operations of a newly constructed 118-unit affordable housing community in Grand Rapids. This role serves as the administrative hub of the property, assisting with resident services, leasing support, accounts payable, maintenance coordination, and office operations.
Working closely with the Property Manager, you'll help ensure the community runs smoothly by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, processing invoices and applications, coordinating maintenance requests, and supporting residents throughout their tenancy. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others, and can remain calm and professional while managing multiple priorities.
Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the daily operations of the property.
- Answer phones, greet residents and visitors, and respond to inquiries professionally.
- Process accounts payable and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with leasing activities, applications, move-ins, and resident files.
- Coordinate and track maintenance requests using Yardi.
- Prepare resident correspondence and maintain property documentation.
- Support compliance, reporting, and general office organization.
- Order office supplies and maintain office inventory.
- Partner with the Property Manager to ensure efficient property operations.
Schedule & Pay:
- Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm
- $21-$24/HR
Office Manager Qualifications:
- 1+ years of administrative, office management, property management, or customer service experience.
- Property management, affordable housing, or LIHTC experience preferred.
- Yardi experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Professional, calm, and customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to obtain a Real Estate Salesperson License within six months of hire.
