Schedule:

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 12:25 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Thursday: 6:15 AM – 3:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

As a Surgery Scheduler, you'll play a key role in ensuring procedures are scheduled accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional service to patients, physicians, and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures with physicians and clinical departments.
• Maintain accurate scheduling information within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Communicate scheduling updates and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
• Ensure all necessary resources are available for scheduled procedures.
• Answer multi-line phones and assist patients, providers, and office staff.
• Monitor scheduling availability to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
• Previous surgery or hospital scheduling experience is a plus.
• Experience using EMR systems preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong computer, data entry, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing schedules.
