Heavy Equipment Operator (Skid Steer & Excavator)

Location: Greensboro, NC
Pay: $24.00–$27.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Hours Vary)

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to operate skid steers and excavators for construction and site development projects in the Greensboro area. Candidates must have prior experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Operate skid steers and excavators safely and efficiently
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation
• Load, move, and transport dirt, gravel, and other materials
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow project plans and directions from supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist with general labor duties when equipment is not in use
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating skid steers and excavators is required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work as needed
