Location: McAllen, Pharr & Weslaco, TX

Pay: $12.80+ per hour

Schedule: Hours may vary based on workload, please call for full details. (Overtime and Saturdays may be required.)

 

Express Employment Professionals is hiring General Laborers / General Assemblers for multiple manufacturing and warehouse facilities throughout the McAllen, Pharr, and Weslaco areas. This hands-on position combines assembly, material handling, shipping support, and general warehouse duties. Ideal candidates are able to lift up to 50lbs, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble kitchen cabinets, furniture components, and other manufactured products according to specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools to complete assembly tasks
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality, defects, and accuracy
• Load, unload, and move materials, cabinets, and finished products safely
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed
• Stage materials and completed products for shipping or installation
• Maintain organized workstations and production areas
• Assist with inventory, material handling, and production support tasks
• Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervisors
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and PPE requirements
• Assist with additional warehouse, maintenance, or production duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, or construction experience preferred but not required
• Experience using hand tools and power tools is preferred
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Flexible to work overtime, Saturdays, and changing production schedules as needed
