We are seeking a dependable Stand-up Forklift Operator/Order Picker to support a variety of day-to-day distribution center operations. Responsibilities include organizing and storing incoming inventory, accurately selecting and preparing customer orders, packing shipments, assisting with online order fulfillment, repackaging products as needed, and performing general material handling duties. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, productivity, and safety.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and store incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Accurately select, prepare, and package products for customer shipments.
• Assist with processing and fulfilling online and direct customer orders.
• Repackage, relabel, or consolidate products as needed to meet shipping or inventory requirements.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and other material handling vehicles, following company procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory by properly handling, relocating, and tracking materials.
• Inspect products and shipments to help ensure quality standards are met before distribution.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and warehouse best practices.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
• Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with team members and leadership to achieve daily operational goals.
• Support other warehouse and distribution activities as needed to meet business demands.

 

Hours: Monday thru Friday, 7am- 3pm with 2, 15 minute paid breaks and 1, 30 minute paid lunch break

 

Pay: $17 per hour

 

Environment: The warehouse is not climate controlled, however is cooled with large industrial fans. 

 

Dress Code: Pants or shorts (appropriate length- to finger tips), t-shirt and closed toe shoes. Steel toes are not required for this position. 

 

Experience: Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift REQUIRED.  Previous experience with an RF scanner preferred. 

 

This is an evaluation hire position with the potential to be hired by the client after 520 hours.  After becoming an employee of the client, you will be able to participate in their benefit offerings including 12 paid holidays, 3 sick days, and 7 days of PTO.
