Junior Bookkeeper

$23.00-$25.00 per hour/ DOE

Monday-Friday / 7:00am to 3:30pm

A manufacturing company specializing in custom conveyor systems and material-handling equipment is seeking a Junior Bookkeeper to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, and possess strong organizational and analytical skills. You are applying through Express Employment Professionals, an award-winning Staffing Firm.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to date financial records.
• Assist with organizing financial records and supporting documentation for audits.
• Process and maintain accounting records using QuickBooks.
• Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Support the accounting team with additional bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.

Bookkeeper Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
