Operator - Heat Treat

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Operator - Heat Treat to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for candidates with experience operating industrial equipment, monitoring production processes, and maintaining quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00/hr, based on experience

Schedules Available

• Monday - Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm
• Monday - Friday, 4 pm to 12:30 am

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust heat treating furnaces and related production equipment
• Load and unload materials while following work instructions and processing specifications
• Monitor temperature settings, cycle times, quenching, and cooling processes to ensure product quality
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with quality standards
• Complete production documentation and maintain accurate processing records
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns promptly
• Follow all safety procedures, quality requirements, and standard operating practices
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous experience in heat treating, metal processing, manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial production preferred
• Experience working with industrial ovens, furnaces, or temperature-controlled processes is highly desirable
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and production documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and a strong safety mindset

Preferred Backgrounds

Candidates with experience as Machine Operators, Heat Treat Operators, Furnace Operators, Manufacturing Technicians, Metal Processing Operators, or Quality Inspectors are encouraged to apply.
