General Laborer

Located in Meriden, CT

Salary: $19-23/hr

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. Candidates with previous construction experience are preferred. The ideal applicant is comfortable performing physical labor, following safety procedures, and assisting with a variety of construction and job-site tasks.

Location: Meriden/Wallingford, CT area

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm or 8 am to 4:30 pm but can vary in start time

Pay rate: $19/hr or more, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople with construction projects.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Prepare and clean work areas.
• Perform demolition, excavation, and site preparation as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Complete other labor-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
