Grinder Operator

Located in Meriden, CT

Salary: $17/hr or more, BOE

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Grinder Operator to join our manufacturing team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for operating grinding equipment to produce high-quality parts while maintaining safety and quality standards. We offer a consistent daytime schedule with opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment.

Location: Meriden, CT

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm (part-time schedule can vary within these hours)

Pay rate: $17/hr or more, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate grinding equipment according to work instructions
• Grind and finish parts to required specifications and tolerances
• Inspect finished products using measuring tools and gauges
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep work area clean
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Report quality or equipment issues to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• Previous grinding or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
