Customer Service Representative

McAllen, TX

Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

$13/hour

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Administrative Support

  • Manage trainee check-in/check-out, course registration, and badge issuance.
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
  • Assist customers with account setup, payments, and system access.
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding documentation, certificates, registrations, and billing.
  • Promote and cross-sell safety council services, training programs, and membership benefits.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, contact lists, and account information.
  • Assist with administrative tasks including mass emails, newsletters, filing, and general office duties.

Proctoring Responsibilities

  • Monitor and supervise students during exams and assessments.
  • Maintain a secure testing environment and enforce testing regulations and lab rules.
  • Ensure academic integrity and compliance with testing procedures.
  • Track testing times and assist with any issues that arise during examinations.
  • Maintain testing equipment and ensure testing areas remain organized and professional.

Instructor Responsibilities

  • Deliver training presentations and facilitate classroom discussions.
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and practical demonstrations as required.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to students.
  • Assist with course preparation, training materials, and classroom setup.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment.
  • Support training operations to ensure a positive learning experience for all participants.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn multiple software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Previous customer service, administrative, training, or proctoring experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
