Production Welder/Fabricator

Located in Beatrice, NE

This Production Welder/Fabricator role is built for someone who thrives in a hands‑on manufacturing environment and enjoys working with metal, machinery, and production equipment. You’ll support daily welding, fabrication, and assembly tasks while collaborating closely with the production manager, plant manager, and other operators on the team.

You’ll work with MIG, TIG, or stick welding processes, interpret blueprints, and contribute to high‑quality production output in a fast‑paced construction and manufacturing setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Welding & fabrication — Weld, fabricate, and assemble metal structures using MIG, TIG, or stick techniques.
• Blueprint interpretation — Read and understand drawings, layouts, and specifications.
• Equipment operation — Operate welding machines, plasma cutters, and fabrication tools.
• Metal cutting — Cut metal components to precise specifications.
• Soldering & brazing — Join metal parts as needed for production.
• Quality assurance — Ensure all work meets safety, structural, and code requirements.
• Routine maintenance — Maintain welding tools and fabrication equipment.
• General production support — Assist with additional warehouse or production tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ year of welding or fabricating experience OR formal education in welding/fabrication required.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to safe manufacturing practices.

Schedule & Pay

• Openings available on all three shifts.
• Pay varies based on experience, skill level, and education.
• Weekly pay for all employees.
