Job Title: Traveling Installer

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Traveling Installer to join our team. This role involves transporting materials or modular structures to residential job sites and assisting with their setup, assembly, and installation. Installers travel extensively (often up to a week at a time) within a 1,000-mile radius, primarily to locations in Idaho, Colorado, Montana, and surrounding areas.

This position is hands-on, physically demanding, and ideal for individuals with strong construction experience and mechanical aptitude who enjoy working on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport materials and/or modular structures to job sites using company-provided pickup truck and utility trailer
• Assist in the setup, assembly, and installation of structures at residential locations
• Safely load, unload, and secure materials for transport
• Operate construction tools and equipment including nail guns, saws, tape measures, and other power tools
• Ensure installations are completed according to company standards and customer expectations
• Communicate effectively with customers on-site and maintain a professional demeanor
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Travel for extended periods (typically up to one week at a time)

Qualifications

• Prior construction or installation experience required
• Proficiency with common construction tools (nail gun, saws, tape measure, power tools, etc.)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, working outdoors in varying conditions)
• Valid CDL A license preferred (or ability to obtain, depending on role requirements)
• Clean driving record
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with frequent travel and overnight stays

Work Conditions & Compensation

• Travel required within a 1,000-mile radius (primarily ID, CO, MT)
• Overnight travel for up to a week at a time
• Company provides lodging and meals during travel
• Compensation is a flat rate per job (details to be discussed during hiring process)
• Company vehicle (pickup truck with utility trailer) provided for work-related travel
