The Opportunity

We're looking for a hands on leader who enjoys being part of the operation, not sitting behind a desk. You'll oversee a small team, coordinate daily warehouse and production activities, and step in wherever needed to keep the operation running smoothly.

This is a working leadership role within a well established food manufacturing and distribution operation. The team is small, the environment is collaborative, and the successful candidate will have the autonomy to organize the day, support the team, and ensure production and warehouse activities are executed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and production activities.
• Provide day to day leadership and support to a small team of warehouse and production employees.
• Ensure production schedules are organized, communicated, and completed on time.
• Support warehouse and production operations as needed, including stepping into hands on tasks during busy periods, vacations, or absences.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory documentation, and operational logs.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials and finished goods are stored and handled correctly.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Train and support team members on established procedures and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, and organization within the operation.

What We're Looking For

• Experience leading or supervising employees in a warehouse, production, manufacturing, food processing, or distribution environment.
• Comfortable working in a hands on role and leading by example.
• Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and daily warehouse operations.
• Experience coordinating production schedules, work assignments, or operational priorities.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and maintain organized records.
• Exposure to food manufacturing, food distribution, HACCP, GMP, or similar regulated environments is considered an asset.
• Forklift experience and certification are preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Self motivated with the ability to take ownership of daily operations.

Working Environment

• Combination of warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and light production responsibilities.
• Active role requiring regular movement throughout the facility and participation in daily operations.
• Facility handles natural and artificial casings and related products used within the meat processing industry.
• Candidates must be comfortable working around meat based products and the associated odors typical of this type of operation.
• Fast paced environment where priorities may shift throughout the day.
