Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports full-cycle recruiting activities to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates in alignment with organizational workforce needs. This role utilizes sourcing strategies, recruiting technology, and data insights to build diverse talent pipelines and improve hiring outcomes while supporting the organization's mission and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, resume screening, phone interviews, candidate communication, hiring manager collaboration, offer preparation, and onboarding.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective recruitment plans.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, hiring events, colleges, universities, and community outreach events.
  • Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as ADP, to manage recruiting workflows, candidate communications, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational hiring standards.
  • Generate recruiting reports and analyze hiring metrics, including applicant sources, hires, headcount, and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Identify recruiting trends and provide data-driven recommendations to improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Build strong relationships with community partners and external organizations to expand recruiting efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One to two years of full-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience.
  • Experience developing innovative sourcing strategies for both active and passive candidates.
  • Experience using ADP or another Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS platform.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze recruiting data and make recommendations based on hiring metrics.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working with diverse candidates, employees, and community partners.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience recruiting across multiple locations.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and recruiting compliance.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience representing an organization at recruiting events and community partnerships.
