Location: Hammond, LA 
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Technician (Make-Ready) to join their team at an apartment community. This position plays a key role in preparing units for new residents while maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property.

No trade licenses required just a valid driver's license and solid repair skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks
• Prepare apartments for move-in (make-ready)
• Interior painting and touch-ups
• Assist with appliance removal and installation
• Replace or repair basic hardware
• Groundskeeping and property cleanup
• Support maintenance team with daily tasks

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk, stand, and lift for extended periods
• Must be capable of heavy lifting
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance or make-ready experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of tools and repair work
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
