Our client is seeking a Maintenance Manager!

 

Summary:

As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all aspects of maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the facility. You’ll lead and mentor technicians, coordinators, and support staff while partnering closely with production, engineering, and external vendors to maintain a world-class operation.

 

Responsibilities:

• safety leadership — champion a safety-first culture, support site health & safety programs, and ensure all food safety and quality standards are met

• progressive maintenance pillar ownership — serve as the Plant Progressive Maintenance Pillar leader, driving TPM practices and maintenance standardization

• technical and operational support — act as a technical resource for system operations, troubleshooting, and production requirements

• cross-functional collaboration — work closely with plant personnel, leadership, engineering teams, external contractors, and vendors

• capital project management — support annual capital planning and execution to improve infrastructure, efficiency, safety, and quality

• team development — coach, train, and mentor maintenance technicians and support staff to build skills and drive performance

• CMMS utilization — oversee work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and system accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred

• 5+ years of technical management or supervisory experience in food manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems used in food production

• Experience developing and enforcing technical standards and procedures

• Familiarity with lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies

• Proficiency with CMMS systems; SAP Plant Maintenance experience is a plus

• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and analytical abilities

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, SAP, and maintenance management software
