Job Title: Fitter / Fabricator (Direct Hire)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:45 PM; Saturday 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Classification: Direct Hire
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

We are hiring an experienced Fitter/Fabricator to join a leading aerospace manufacturer with over 70 years of industry success. This is a hands-on role focused on building structural tooling components in a high-quality, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, models, and stock lists to determine specifications and tolerances
• Fit, lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies
• Perform MIG and TIG welding in flat, vertical, and horizontal positions
• Fabricate and assemble structural components from raw materials
• Perform precision fitting, adjustments, and repairs as needed
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to complete builds
• Support production workflow by preparing components and keeping welding operations running efficiently
• Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards and ITAR requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience in fabrication, fitting, and welding (MIG and TIG certification preferred)
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of fabrication tools including saws, shears, torches, and measuring instruments
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

Equipment Used:

• Hand tools and precision measuring instruments (calipers, squares, straightedges)
• Power saws, shears, cutting torches, and fabrication tools

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and concentrate for extended periods
• Physical stamina to meet the demands of a production environment
