Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental programs for a growing oil & gas operation. This leadership role is responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting both field and office operations.
What You'll Do:
✔ Develop and improve company-wide safety programs and procedures
✔ Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, training, and leadership
✔ Perform job site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
✔ Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
✔ Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other applicable regulations
✔ Coordinate employee safety training and maintain compliance records
✔ Partner with operations and leadership to continuously improve HSE performance
✔ Travel to field locations as needed
What We're Looking For:
• 10+ years of safety management experience in the oil & gas industry
• Strong background supporting upstream operations
• Experience with contractor compliance platforms such as ISNetworld and Veriforce
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Incident investigation training preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Candidates must reside in Midland or Odessa, TX
