Senior Plant Maintenance Technician
North Fort Worth, TX

Pay: $28–$30/hour DOE + 10% Shift Differential
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Position Overview

A global packaging manufacturer in North Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Senior Plant Maintenance Technician to join their 2nd shift team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems with an emphasis on minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment

  • Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize downtime

  • Assist with equipment upgrades, programming adjustments, and process improvements

  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals

  • Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records

  • Maintain spare parts inventory and support 5S and safety initiatives

  • Work independently while supporting production and maintenance teams

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience in food, beverage, packaging, or similar manufacturing industries preferred

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment; PLC programming experience is a plus

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents

  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Forklift experience required

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must be able to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
