Job Title: Class A CDL Driver (Overnight Lot Driver)

Location: Airport Facility
Shift: Overnight (12:00 AM – 10:30 AM)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our team as an Overnight Lot Driver at an airport location. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, positioning, and organizing vehicles or equipment within the lot and airport facility. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles within the airport lot and designated areas
• Move and position vehicles, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe working condition
• Maintain accurate logs and complete required documentation
• Follow all company policies, airport regulations, and DOT compliance standards
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and on-site management
• Ensure the lot remains organized and vehicles are staged efficiently for operations
• Adhere to all safety procedures, including use of PPE when required

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Ability to pass a federal background check (required for airport access)
• Ability to pass a drug screening and meet DOT requirements
• Prior experience in yard/lot driving or similar role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work overnight shifts and in varying weather conditions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to climb in and out of vehicles frequently
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, as needed
• Comfortable working outdoors and in an airport environment
