Express Employment Professionals of Longview is now hiring for a Bilingual Counter Sales Representative who can support walk-in customers, contractors, and delivery drivers at a concrete and building-materials supply counter. The role blends customer service, order entry, inventory coordination, and product guidance. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential for this position.

 Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service — Greet customers, identify needs, and provide accurate product recommendations for concrete mixes, aggregates, rebar, tools, and related materials.
• Order Processing — Enter sales orders, quotes, and tickets into the POS system; ensure pricing accuracy and correct material selection.
• Bilingual Support — Communicate clearly in English and Spanish with walk-in customers, contractors, and drivers.
• Inventory Coordination — Check stock levels, coordinate with the yard crew, and ensure materials are staged or loaded correctly.
• Product Knowledge — Provide guidance on concrete mixes, additives, masonry supplies, and job-specific material requirements.
• Problem Resolution — Address order issues, delivery questions, and material discrepancies quickly and professionally.
• Safety & Compliance — Follow company safety procedures and ensure customers receive proper guidance on safe material handling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual English–Spanish (required)
• Construction or concrete supply experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer-interaction skills
• Ability to read material specs, mix designs, and basic construction terminology
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with contractors and delivery crews
• Basic computer skills (POS systems, order entry, email)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs occasionally and work around a yard/warehouse environment

Work Environment & Schedule

• Full-time, on-site at the Longview, TX location
• Indoor counter area with regular coordination in the yard and warehouse
• Frequent interaction with contractors and drivers, handling phone calls and walk-in customers
• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday 7am-5pm.
• Starting pay is depending on experience.
