Grand Prairie, TX 75050Hours: 1st Shift with overtime, including Saturday
Duties: Coordinating shipments that do not require a full truckload.Scheduling pickups and deliveries with LTL carriers.Obtaining freight quotes and selecting carriers based on cost and transit time.Preparing bills of lading (BOLs), shipping documents, and freight paperwork.Tracking shipments and resolving delivery issues or damage claims.Working with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems, or shipping software.Communicating with warehouses, customers, and carriers to ensure on-time delivery.Understanding freight classifications (NMFC), weight, dimensions, and freight rates.Managing both inbound and outbound LTL shipments.Required: Must have S/R or LTL experience with a manufacturer
