We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to join a busy healthcare team in Mandeville, LA. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
• Verify insurance information prior to appointments
• Manage and coordinate schedules for physicians and staff
• Answer incoming patient calls and assist with inquiries
• Confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed
• Collect patient payments and process transactions
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and team members
• Create pre-admission encounters for patients
• Gather and maintain accurate patient information

Qualifications

• Previous medical scheduling or healthcare administrative experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
