Salary: $23.00 - $25.00/Hour

We are seeking a highly adaptable, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our client's team on a full-time contract until March 31, 2027.

As the first point of contact for many visitors and clients, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of their offices. This is a fast-paced position that requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn and support a variety of administrative functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front desk reception and administrative coverage between multiple work locations.
  • Welcome clients, visitors, and community partners in a professional, respectful, and compassionate manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls, respond to general inquiries, and manage incoming correspondence
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars as needed
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance
  • Process mail, manage office supplies, and support day-to-day office operations
  • Assist staff with administrative tasks as assigned
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

 

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Medical Office Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of one year of administrative or reception experience
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams) and general office technology
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional with strong customer service skills
  • Highly adaptable, easy-going, and eager to learn new processes and responsibilities
  • Ability to travel between the three work locations, valid license
  • Valid Vulnerable sector check required

 

Contract Term: Until March 31, 2027

Monday to Friday in office from 8am-5pm

Wage: $23.00 - $25.00/Hour
