Job Title: Counter Service Associate / Order Taker

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Counter Service Associate / Order Taker to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will greet customers, accurately take food orders, process payments, and ensure each guest has a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Take customer orders accurately in person and over the phone.
• Enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Answer menu questions and make recommendations when appropriate.
• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately.
• Package orders for dine-in, takeout, and delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, dining area, and beverage station.
• Restock supplies such as cups, napkins, condiments, and utensils.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order preparation.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service or restaurant experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
