Compensation

Base Salary: $125,000–$150,000+ DOE

Our client recognizes that exceptional talent deserves exceptional compensation. Salary will be based on experience, technical expertise, leadership ability, and business development success.

Candidates who bring an existing book of business or have a proven history of generating and retaining client relationships may be eligible for compensation above the posted range.

In addition, you'll receive 10% of annual billings for three years on any new clients you personally bring to the firm (provided they are billed at the firm's standard rates).

Most importantly, this position offers a clear path toward future partnership for the right individual.


Work Schedule

Busy Season (Approximately February 1 – April 15)

  • Approximately 65 hours per week

Outside of Tax Season

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM

  • Standard 37.5-hour work week

  • Enjoy early Friday afternoons throughout most of the year.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals

  • Build trusted relationships with clients and serve as their primary advisor

  • Oversee accounting and tax engagements from planning through completion

  • Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality and timely delivery

  • Transition and retain an established client base from a retiring partner

  • Help drive the firm's continued growth and long-term success


What We're Looking For

  • CPA designation required

  • 7–10+ years of public accounting experience

  • Previous CPA firm management experience

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills

  • Exceptional client relationship and communication abilities

  • Advanced tax and accounting expertise

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in future firm ownership
