Quality Control Technician

 

Location: Hillside, NJ
Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Job Summary

A food manufacturing company in Hillside, NJ is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to ensure products meet food safety, quality, and customer specifications throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks throughout production and packaging operations.

• Inspect raw materials, work-in-process products, and finished goods.

• Verify product weights, labels, packaging, and specifications.

• Complete quality control documentation accurately and timely.

• Monitor GMP, HACCP, and food safety compliance.

• Conduct routine line inspections and report quality concerns.

• Work closely with production supervisors to address quality issues.

• Assist with audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Quality Control experience in food manufacturing preferred.

• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices.

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Ability to work in hot and cold production environments.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Basic computer skills for reporting and recordkeeping.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
