Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment. This role is ideal for a high-level CSR with prior office experience, preferably within a manufacturing or order-processing setting. The position will also support general administrative functions as needed.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering $19.50/hour, with a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday.

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a high level of service and accuracy. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent communication.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer phone calls and emails in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
  • Process customer orders, changes, credits, refunds, and exchanges
  • Maintain accurate customer and order information in company systems
  • Provide product information and make recommendations based on customer needs
  • Coordinate with production, shipping, and accounting teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Support wholesale and retail customer accounts, including account maintenance
  • Resolve customer concerns and follow through to ensure satisfaction
  • Assist with administrative tasks and departmental projects as needed
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of products and seasonal offerings

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience in an office environment
  • Experience in manufacturing, wholesale, or order-processing environments preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurate data entry and strong keyboarding abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience handling custom or key account orders is a plus
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
