Driver Helper

Salary: $15.00

We are currently hiring a Driver’s Helper for a confidential client in the Morrow, GA area. This position will assist drivers with daily deliveries, loading and unloading products, and making sure customer orders are handled safely and professionally.

The Driver’s Helper will ride along with the driver on assigned routes and help with the physical movement of products at each stop. This is a hands-on position that requires reliability, good attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ride with driver on local delivery routes
• Assist with loading and unloading products
• Move, lift, carry, and stage items as needed
• Help verify orders and delivery items
• Follow safety procedures during loading, unloading, and deliveries
• Provide professional service while at customer locations
• Keep work areas and delivery equipment clean and organized
• Follow instructions from the driver and supervisor

Requirements:

• Must be dependable and on time
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull throughout the shift
• Must be comfortable working in and out of a truck
• Must be able to work in different weather conditions
• Previous warehouse, delivery, moving, or general labor experience is a plus
• Must be able to follow directions and work well with others

Pay: $15.00 per hour
