Our client in Painesville, OH is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Benefits Administrator for a short-term contract assignment lasting a few weeks to a few months. This role will support daily administrative functions and assist with benefits administration processes. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and correspondence
  • Assist with benefits administration processes such as new hires, terminations, and COBRA
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure documentation compliance
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and employees regarding HR-related inquiries
  • Utilize HR systems (UKG preferred) to manage employee information
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous general administrative or office support experience required
  • Experience with benefits administration (new hires, terminations, COBRA, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and time management skills
