Dock Worker / Material Handler – 1st Shift

Location: South Granville, NC
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Some Saturdays required)

We’re hiring a dependable Dock Worker / Material Handler to join our busy 1st shift team in South Granville! If you have experience in shipping, receiving, forklift operation, or material handling, this is a great opportunity to grow with a fast-paced, safety-focused employer.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks, and keeping things organized on the dock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks efficiently, following all safety and compliance guidelines

• Properly label, handle, and stage hazardous materials

• Verify and document incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy and compliance

• Operate warehouse equipment: forklifts, pallet jacks, and related machinery

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant dock area

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate material flow

?? Qualifications & Requirements:

• ***Must have a valid Driver's License***

• Previous warehouse, dock, or material handling experience required

• Experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack (certification is a plus)

• Knowledge of hazardous material handling — or willingness to be trained

• Strong attention to detail with labels, documentation, and safety protocols

• Team-oriented, dependable, and able to follow verbal and written instructions

• Must be willing to shave facial hair for safety compliance with respirator use.
