Maintenance Make-Ready Technician

Location: Tallahassee, FL
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $17.00–$22.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities

Prepare vacant apartment units for new residents
Complete painting, drywall repair, and touch-up work
Repair or replace fixtures, doors, cabinets, and hardware
Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, and drains
Install and repair appliances as needed
Perform general carpentry and minor repairs
Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and vacant units
Assist with property grounds maintenance and curb appeal
Respond to maintenance requests as assigned
Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Previous experience in apartment maintenance, make-ready, facilities maintenance, or general construction preferred
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

Apartment make-ready experience
HVAC certification is a plus, but not required
Appliance installation and repair experience
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service and communication abilities
