Location: Bay St. Louis, Mississippi
MUST be available to work the following schedule:
5-7 days per week 8-12 hours mandatory OT 
Rotating shift 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights

Must pass FCAW welding test 

Job Summary

Our confidential manufacturing client is seeking experienced FCAW Welders to join a high-volume steel pipe fabrication operation. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality flux-cored arc welding on carbon steel components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment. The facility manufactures large-diameter steel pipe for industrial, infrastructure, and energy applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform FCAW welding on carbon steel components according to approved welding procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Prepare, fit, align, and tack materials prior to welding.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, penetration, and dimensional accuracy.
• Grind, clean, and repair welds as required.
• Operate welding equipment and basic fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow all OSHA, company safety, and quality control procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with fitters, inspectors, and production personnel to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of FCAW welding experience in a manufacturing, structural steel, pipe, or heavy industrial environment.
• Ability to pass an FCAW weld test.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of welding codes, quality standards, and safe work practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds.
• Ability to work overtime and shifts as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Work in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform repetitive welding and fabrication tasks safely and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience welding large-diameter pipe or heavy steel components.
• Multi-process welding experience (SMAW, GMAW, or SAW) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a pipe mill or heavy manufacturing facility is preferred
