Custom Woodworker / Finish Carpenter / Cabinet Maker

1st Shift | Full-Time | Starting at $25+/Hour (Based on Experience)

We're looking for two experienced Custom Woodworkers to help launch a new 46,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. What You'll Build

• Custom reception desks
• Architectural wall and ceiling panel systems
• Planter boxes
• High-end cabinetry
• Custom furniture and millwork products
• Specialty commercial woodwork projects

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and production plans.
• Build custom cabinetry, furniture, and architectural millwork to precise specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install components using a variety of woodworking techniques.
• Work with hardwoods, veneers, laminates, plywoods, and other specialty materials.
• Operate woodworking machinery and power hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and detail products for finishing.
• Plan manufacturing steps to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Select and organize materials that meet AWI quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in custom woodworking, cabinet making, finish carpentry, or architectural millwork.
• Experience building custom commercial or residential wood products.
• Ability to read architectural blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of woodworking construction methods.
• Knowledge of hardwoods, veneers, laminates, plywoods, and related materials.
• Experience using woodworking machinery and power hand tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced manufacturing team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Safely operate woodworking equipment and machinery.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision work.

Pay

Starting at $25.00+ per hour
Actual pay will be based on related experience and skill level.
