Salary: $23-$25/hr.

We are currently hiring multiple Production Leads for an automotive upfitting company. The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production operations while leading team members in safety, quality, and productivity within the department. 

The ideal candidate must be flexible with work hours and assignments and possess a strong understanding of the manufacturing and assembly process.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities with a focus on safety, quality, and delivery time
• Ensure team adherence to company policies, procedures, and performance standards
• Regular use of hand and power tools to complete assemblies and fittings
• Train team members to read and interpret installation and assembly prints
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
• Train employees on safety procedures, 5S standards, and operational processes
• Promote and maintain a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment
• Utilize computer systems effectively

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to submit to drug and background screening
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial vehicle assembly, including Walk-Ins, Truck Bodies, or PDVs
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production needs
