Manual Machinist

Located in Winona, MN

Salary: 20-26

Manual Machinist - Up to $21/hour

• Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
• First Shift
• Up to $26 per hour

Machine shop duties include:

• Reading blue prints to determine dimensions
• Align, secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machines
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions, adjusting machines as needed
• Using micrometers & calipers to verify conformance
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts using overhead cranes, or other material-handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintaining a well-organized area
• Heavy lifting and constant movement 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 - 2 years of experience on manual lathes, drill presses, saws
• General mechanical aptitude
• Manual machinist experience
