Customer Service Representative – Medical Equipment 

 

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative for a local  Medical Equipment provider.

 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, providing outstanding customer service, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting medical equipment and supplies
  • Answer questions regarding products, insurance coverage, and order status
  • Verify insurance information and process customer orders
  • Prepare delivery and billing paperwork with accuracy
  • Process payments and maintain detailed customer records
  • Coordinate with billing, delivery, and service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Maintain an organized showroom and assist with inventory as needed
  • Protect confidential patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience required; DME, healthcare, or insurance verification experience preferred
  • Strong computer, data entry, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask while providing compassionate, professional customer service
  • Experience with Brightree or other DME software is a plus
