Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Kitting / Inventory Administrator with a strong background in high-tech manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with integrated circuit components and a wide variety of materials including cables, PCB assemblies, plastics, metals, and related manufacturing inputs.

This role is critical to ensuring smooth production flow through accurate BOM management, proactive materials planning, and efficient kitting operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support customer orders
  • Collaborate with Purchasing to:
    • Expedite part acquisition at the start of builds
    • Address shortages and adjust BOMs as needed
  • Develop and maintain forecasting requirements for long lead-time components
  • Prepare and organize kitting packages for production/assembly teams
  • Assign and maintain part numbers for new assemblies and products
  • Work closely with Engineering to:
    • Develop and refine assembly BOMs
    • Ensure accuracy of product configurations
  • Support continuous improvement in inventory and materials processes

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in kitting, inventory control, or materials management in a manufacturing environment
  • Background in high-tech manufacturing preferred
  • Familiarity with:
    • Integrated circuits (ICs)
    • PCB assemblies
    • Cables, plastics, metals, and other production materials
  • Strong understanding of BOM structures and inventory systems
  • Experience working cross-functionally with purchasing and engineering teams
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
