Electrical Assemblers – Day Shift

 

Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the Etobicoke area, is seeking a motivated Electrical Assembler to join their team on a day shift. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with assembly experience who are looking to build their skills in electrical and mechanical assembly within a supportive, safety-focused environment.

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components and subassemblies following schematics and instructions
• Cut, strip, crimp, and label wiring accurately
• Mount components, bend conduit, and route/secure cables neatly
• Inspect assemblies to ensure proper component selection, placement, and wiring quality
• Record tasks completed, noting any deviations or quality concerns
• Follow all safety procedures and report hazards promptly
• Complete in-house training on reading blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Operate overhead cranes, ladders, and material handling equipment safely
• Consistently meet production targets while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• 1+ years of assembly experience; strong interest in electrical/mechanical assembly
• Ability to follow instructions and use hand and power tools effectively
• Strong manual dexterity for precise, detail-oriented tasks
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills and comfort using internal systems
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Commitment to health, safety, and workplace procedures
• A respectful and inclusive approach to working with others
