Hi-Lo Forklift Operator (Heavy Industrial Materials)

Location: Hillside, NJ
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Overtime Available

A leading logistics and distribution company is seeking an experienced Hi-Lo Forklift Operator to safely move and handle heavy industrial materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable forklift operator who enjoys working with large, heavy products and values safety, teamwork, and consistency.

If you have experience operating a sit-down forklift and are comfortable handling oversized or heavy materials, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down (Hi-Lo) forklift to move heavy industrial materials throughout the warehouse.

• Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are properly secured.

• Transport oversized products to designated storage and staging areas.

• Perform accurate material movements while maintaining inventory organization.

• Inspect forklift equipment before each shift and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Assist with shipping, receiving, staging, and general warehouse duties as needed.

• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.

• Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure timely movement of materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sit-down (Hi-Lo) forklift experience.

• Experience moving heavy, oversized, or industrial materials preferred.

• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds, with heavier materials moved using equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous shipping and receiving experience is a plus.
