Loan Officer III – Bastrop, TX
Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a well-established community bank in Bastrop, TX.
Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Loan Officer III with 5–6 years of lending experience and a strong background in community banking. Due to the competitive banking market, candidates must have previous community banking experience and a proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage new and existing lending relationships
Interview loan applicants and evaluate creditworthiness
Make lending decisions within established authority
Cross-sell banking products and services
Ensure loan compliance and portfolio quality
Provide exceptional customer service and financial guidance
Qualifications:
5–6 years of lending experience required
Community banking experience required
Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent education and experience)
NMLS registration (or ability to maintain registration)
Strong communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
