Position Details

• F/T position here at HQ in Ft Myers.
• Hourly pay $17.00 to $17.25 per hour DOE.
• Monday thru Friday typically 7:30am-4:00pm with a 30 min unpaid meal break.

JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible for ensuring the quality of products/processes and assisting with various production/warehouse responsibilities. This position is responsible for assisting the operations team with day-to-day duties and assignments including but not limited to production manufacturing / assembling and ensuring the quality of products and processes are present. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and procedures. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Work with teams to assist with production and/or warehouse operations and assignments. 

• Mechanical and electrical assembly and adjustments of products to satisfy orders and inventory.
• Assemble and package product properly for shipment.
• Use and maintain tools to complete necessary tasks. 
• Thoroughly test unit to ensure all functions operate properly.
• Log all serial numbers of serialized sections used on order.
• Stock product.
• Communicate order status to correct team member(s) as applicable.
• Quality Control Evaluation and reporting to the Production Supervisor or designee.

COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity, good physical condition and strength, and good balance is needed for safety.
• A willingness to work overtime, arrive early, and/or stay late according to business / project needs.

• Must have the ability to safely lift, move, push and/or pull up to fifty (50) pounds. repeatedly, regularly (daily) while maintaining quotas and deadlines. 
• Problem solving and trouble shooting skills are needed.
• Have a willingness to work overtime as per business needs.
• Must be dependable with an excellent attendance record.

Educational Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent with at least one (1) year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of closely related experience, education, and/or training. 

 

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb/climb ladders, or balance; use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is required to safely lift or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Good physical strength and condition are needed in order to safely spend extended periods standing / being on your feet. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job in a warehouse and/or manufacturing operations atmosphere, the employee will need to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise levels in these work environments can be moderate to loud; ambient climate temperatures to occasional humid and hot (depending on season), dry, dusty to moderately clean. Employees may need to wear and/or use safety equipment / PPE which will be provided by the company.
